Likes on instagram, quite common, yet we never take a look back at them again.
We decided to! We collected data from all the posts we liked, since the beggining of our use of
instagram,
wich dates back to 2014! We looked at which accounts we interacted with the most, when we tended to be
the most active,
what kind of media we liked etc.
In this website you will get to discover what we found, the different ways we used the like button
during our lives,
from barely using it to being a litteral like addict!!
In the toggle button on the top right you can also discover data but with the actual posts we liked,
yes we really are exposing our truest selves, hope you’ll enjoy and get to relate to our change of
aesthetics.
Below is a cute heart-themed heatmap that shows the average number of likes given per day. Each heart represents the average number of likes for that specific month. This visualization highlights how actively we’ve been using Instagram, because, as we all know, you can spend hours on the app without interacting with anything beyond simply viewing content. It helps illustrate our engagement patterns over time, showing not just how often we opened the app, but how often we actually interacted with posts.
